indigo is a legitimate color. not bullshit like 'blushing plum' or 'mauverific' but right there in ROY G BIV legit. blue indigo violet red. that whole spectrum change can be stupid subtle and subjective.

I can't tell blue and purple apart unless they're specific shades of those colors. Most of the time, I just use heuristics to tell. Lighter shades of purple looks like shit, so purple is usually darker than blue. Navy blue and purple are the same thing to me.

If Lauren thinks Chemda's dress is "purple" in any way similar to the colour of her dress in the cartoon logo, then, yes, he's batshit... I mean colourblind. However, I have a t-shirt of roughly the same colour and in warm light it can look more purple than blue. Maybe he is a bit colourblind, but I don't think Lauren is off his rocker to call the dress purple.

Also, I think the colourblind test pictures you posted are a bit weird. I can see the numbers, but they're much harder to make out than when I took the test in person over a year ago. When I took it in person (as part of a physical), one might say I passed with flying colours ().
