Haven't listened yet, but my first thought is...didn't we crap on Heath Ledger when we heard he would be the Joker. And he turned out great. Afflek is a solid actor who has been in crappy movies. We'll see how it goes.

I only thought Bale did well as Batman in the first one. Ledger carried the second movie, and the third movie sucked compared to the real Knightfall storyline while there was no good acting in that film.
While Affleck has had some bombs, he did do well in Argo. Plus, Matt Damon as Robin will be hilarious. |

I can't be mad at anyone that insults me and then posts the Ted Dibiase theme song (with the greatest cackle of all time)
P.S. Please don't kill me QUOTE=JSZilla;761006]Why Ben Affleck As Batman Is Good Move For Warner Bros I'll reserve judgement on a few trailers before I get mad at Affleck. Keaton and Ledger come to mind at the outrage it caused when they were picked. I hope it's good. I just wish Warner had a fucking plan like Disney obviously has. The idea of the two heroes in a movie together BEFORE the League is an interesting idea and a different approach than the way Avengers was handled. They might fuck it up, but I'll wait before letting it get to me. Because who gives a shit. I may have to skip this episode. After the last pointless and immature movie rants from Lawrence it had me wanting to become a serial killer: The Fanboy Killer. Luckily the man can carry a joke, when he isn't shitting on things he can't allow himself to enjoy because he can't be happy and has to accept a tunnel-vision-only version of reality. So thankfully his humor got me past the bullshit. I downloaded this show. I just don't know what to do with it. I guess the real question is: will this be a shit-on-everything show? If so? No thanks. I'll just wait til Monday's episode. Either way Warner Bros is saying this... [/QUOTE] |
