Well shit. I didn't know he posted here. Time to be a little bitch in private message. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Also, I would never actually do that killing Piffle lol. Not over something so silly. I have just been getting so annoyed at all the whining over the announcement. The internet fucking exploded. I did listen to the show though. Keith persuaded me lol. It wasn't bad...I did cringe though. And I actually found myself agreeing with Mike on some of what he said. I also really liked the counter point-esque questions from Keith. I'm a cunt who overreacts seemingly as much as the fanboys. Sob. Is that better? Don't worry I won't be making a kickstarter any time soon to fund serial murder.

I'm an old man. I don't care about Bats, no more... (I totally watch Dark Knight where Heath Ledger is the Joker) time to time, but Christian Bale's 'I have a gruff voice' kills my boner.
As long as Hugh Jackman keeps playing Wolverine; I'm happy. Also, I forgot you have a Batman logo in your avatar. You know what? You do what you please buddy. |

I don't think Ben Affleck will be as bad as many people think. Even though he isn't an amazing actor, I think he's capable of surprising people. Plus it's a Zak Synder film. He doesn't need amazing actors. He'll make some visually impressive fight scenes. Almost doesn't matter who plays Batman. All he needs to play Batman is someone with a good chin.
Bryan Cranston as Lex Luthor would make me excited for the movie though. |

These comic book movies are not for us nerds anymore. They are for normal people to take their girlfriends to. That's why there is a love story in every story even if it doesn't fit. If you get upset because the person playing a character doesn't fit the version you made up in your head, then you aren't the audience it's targeted to. It's ok though, because they know you are going to see it no matter what because you can't help yourself. I came to this realization after the last Spider-Man movie made no connection with me. It's not being made for Spider-Man fans anymore. It's made to make the most money possible.

My first reaction to Affleck was "Ew."
But now I'm way more amused by the total meltdown on the internet over it. A petition to the White House to ban him from playing Batman for 200 years? Now that's some funny shit. (It's already been taken down for violating the TOS). |

Yeah. Americans are ok with endless war, but when it comes to some actor taking a fictional comic book role...they're suddenly organized, mobilized, pissed off and paying attention.
Awesome. And sad. Mostly...sad. |
