Still didn't listen to the entire episode but I need to vent over this, being such a huge Patrice fan.

I'm pretty bummed over this whole thing, mostly because I've been a fan ever since I started listening to the podcast in 2008. I've missed her but it was very clear to your listeners that her absence was... something. I couldn't tell what it was because you were always so discreet about it but now that you guys decided to speak up I understand. Also, I get it how funny-bitchy and funny-shady could easily turn into something very annoying in real life.

Part of me wishes Patrice would come back and explain her part - in part because everyone deserves a defense but also because I feel so much for Chemda, she always needs closure and I get it, I'm just like her in that way - but now that we're talking fraud and all, and Keith being so livid about all this, I understand it's irreparable.

Somehow I do feel like Keith and Chemda burn bridges but I don't mean this in a negative way. I'm not sure how they could protect their business and their feelings otherwise. It's necessary to cut toxic people from our lives sometimes... they may not be toxic to others and they may not be toxic to us 10 years from now. But sometimes we just need to move forward. If we had a podcast I'm sure we'd all rant about someone at some part of our lives.

So I get it, sad as I am to know that someone who I loved so much on the show is so shady in real life and she's hurt so many, in a small or large scale. Moving on, bring on some Gethard because that man rocks my world. Also, I NEED that marathon, people!

I'm glad Dawn & Drew got a nod - it was that "fued" that brought me to this show!

As for the Patrice thing: My only interaction with her was at the Boston live show. She got shitfaced and was signing people's chests. I told her she could sign my chest, so she literally (in the old, "actually happened" sense) tore my shirt off. At the time, I was mostly just amused and glad I had a fun KATG-related story, but in retrospect I could see that being part of a pattern of Patrice making it about Patrice.

This is the first episode I've listened to in a while and I have no idea what's going on. That said, what I do understand is pretty unentertaining from a uninvested listener's perspective.
