I didn't listen to the show yet but I know from my friend waitressing in Tonic in Times Square for many years that they get a lot of tourists which equals lots of foreigners which equals people not "knowing" about american tipping practices.

Sound quality?
Did anyone else notice a change in the audio quality? At first I thought the beginning Audible commercial was prerecorded at some other location, but the sound stayed the same for the whole show.
To be clear, it didn't sound bad. Just different (and a little tinny, like they were in a different room). |

After the fact I heard an odd buzz I had to get rid of. That's the sound difference. I was angries.
Also, Times Square is terrible tips. I was at an Applebee's there, and they had a $1 happy hour. Sure, people tipped 20%, but on $1. Also, people know what to tip. They just choose not to. There's no excuse. |
