I unfriend people who don't want to interact with me. It's almost a tautology.

When Keith said, "A British teenager has no vagina" and one of the girls gasped I wanted him to continue, "that's right he has a penis and was born a male!... slow news day."

Thinking it made me chuckle

I think the "oldest living creature" probably wasn't that clam, I've read that lobsters never die of old age (just from being killed by something else) so there's probably some extremely old lobsters I assume.

I'm 28 and don't have facebook. I don't have anything to push and all I hear from my wife, friends, and family about it is gossip and bitching about other people on there. Nothing ever positive.

And no i'm not a fat kid living in my parents basement. I function normally in society. Fuck facebook.

I remember when Facebook first came out, or at least when it was made available to the general public without a .edu email address, and finding friends from high school on there that I had lost touch with, and we did meet up and it was great.

That wouldn't happen now. People have a whole new set of rules about how they behave on social media. A girl I went to high school with - that I am friends with on Facebook, but we weren't particularly friendly in high school - just requested to follow me on Instagram. Why? Why bother? So you have another platform to "like" a photo that I post?

I get what Keith is saying, but I think like Chemda said, some people don't really want to catch up. I'm one of those people. My life feels crazy enough as it is, I don't have the energy to catch up with lots of people from the past. Sad but true!
