mmmmmmmmmprincevaliant ...i'm sorry, what were we talking about?

If you accept capitalism you have to accept a lot of things. Like big oil getting away with polluting the earth, because what's thousands of Philippinos dead and millions displaced when you need to make more money for the top one percent. The assholes from the gaming industry look like silly kindergartners next to them.

God fucking dammit! I always cringe every time Keith "cleans the closet" on air. I can never tell if it was discussed beforehand or if it is done by the seat of one's pants. The embodiment of My Name is Keith seems to be just that. I get angry and I feel bad for the receiving end. But fuck if the show isn't some great shit. And I can hardly judge. Shit, if my ranting on Mike Lawrence is any indication, I would be far and away worse than anything Keith has done thus far if I were he. Also, he knows how to talk to people and actually conduct an interview. I, on the other hand, do not.

I don't know whether to say "fuck you" or "you're the man" to Keith, because that was fucking hilarious. Sigh...and I think I may have to start considering really joining VIP. Like soon. Plus Chemda and Lauren are cool too lol. After what seems to have been opened up on the show, I hope Ray is doing okay, he does seem to have a lot more issues than I assumed he had. And I assumed more than what he admitted too. Oi.

Wow. This reeks of the same conviction a lifetime smoker might have as they ash their cig and think 'I should really quit these..' :D

Was I too rambly? I know I can be. Maybe I wasn't clear enough? Or maybe you're using sarcasm. Which is something I rarely know how to detect. Either way, I have been teetering on getting VIP for some time now as I fiddle with my budget. It's shit like this that I always find myself reacting with both shock and awe and then I both want and don't want VIP. But the funny thing is, the want side has grown like a penis. So I really am highly considering it even more than ever. It's like before I wanted to fuck VIP. Maybe in the ass a little bit I could partake. Now I wanna hate fuck it. But still fuck it none the less. Does that help?

PS: I still haven't quit smoking. How the fuck did you know that?!

Why? Why does accepting capitalism mean I have to accept oil pouting the earth? It really can't be regulated? Or are you pointing towards an example of a non capitalist nation like China?
I'm personally probably more of a socialist, but still, oil spills and fracking are hardly an unavoidable byproduct of capitalism.

any unfettered -ism is want to exploit. i'm fine and dandy with regulated capitalism. competition does make the cogs go quite nicely when everybody plays by the rules.

Chemda, I too feel that i am very good at manipulation but I try really hard not to do it. It's a declaration I made a number of years ago when I stopped being a "mean girl."

Yesterday I was driving and I got on one of those train of thought journeys and I landed at one example.

One time I convinced a guy with a mentally retarded brother that it was totally ok to make fun of retarded people. He started out angry with me, by the end he had gotten to the point where he was in on it too.

I was reminded of this yesterday and was like "how do I post about this accomplishment without people thinking this is still who I am?"

I didn't post about it until I heard the beginning of your podcast.

So thank you.

If parents (like Keith as the parent of a 5-year old in Chemda's hypothetical question) know that freemium games exist to make money without regard for business ethics and that kids can be tricked into spending money on them, I don't see how iTunes "stole from you" if the parents didn't take the precaution of making sure their CC isn't linked to the iTunes account the kids are using AND don't have the password necessary to make the purchase. Why wait until after the kid spent the money before taking that step?

Or maybe I'm just cranky. Must...get...turkey.
