I don't know if it was him or just that i couldn't really relate to the story, but I genuinely hated listening to him talk. I almost fast forwarded through him a few times. I was happy to hear Keith poke a little fun at him after but I didn't hear either of you say whether you actually enjoyed this story or not. I am very curious because it irritated me.

The guy had all the makings of a good non-fictional story, but never connected.
Is Jeff white? Is Jeff black? Not that race matters, but in the context of the story it was undefined, misleading, and ultimately confusing to a fault. I think he wanted to make it known he was a nerdy guy. Like, Jeff is almost 'white' in his person, but 'black' both literally and in the context of the story. He was clearly going for juxtaposition. Not an easy thing to do. Unfortunately, he came off as a schizophrenic trying to read the same line of a play, but each time with a different character voice. I'm more upset that this story shows potential and could be better; than it's actual time-suck waste. |

I then read your post, and while not a bad post, it's not really like-worthy. Normally I'd just click "unlike" and get on with my main task of being a dickhead, but seeing the direction that this thread is heading, I figured an explanation's certainly not going to hurt it. I have yet to listen to this ep, and let's just say that I am somewhat moist with anticipation... |

The reminiscing about early awkward "romances" brought up some memories I'd buried. Especially the one about not being on the same page at the same time. When I was 13 a girl asked me to be her boyfriend twice in two months, I said no both times, changed my mind, asked her twice over the next two months, she said no both times.
All through school I would fixate on one girl for an entire year, never make a real move but end up great friends with them which of course made it worse. They usually had a boyfriend and looking back I wonder if that was part of the attraction. You never have to put yourself on the line because, I can't ask her out, she has a boyfriend. |

I didn't mind the story or the way Jeff told it. Got a few laughs (still smirking at "the ghosts of shits past") and I liked the way it ended with the "bitches will come & go" line.
The mouth rape, with the faggy moustache detail, was a lovely touch. Looking forward to the next one. |
