It was a horrid, boring, weird, fantasy of a story. I hope they don't keep doing these.
The KATG Beginnings they did while on break were friggin awesome. KATG Beginnings |

Why then, do I hope they keep doing these? I regularly listen to the Moth and they do this very well. I think that if they keep doing these stories on KATG the quality will improve to the point that they will rival those told on more story-centric podcats. Then I won't have to leave the comfort of KATG to get my story pods too. You guys should just chill the fuck out and be patient. I didn't like beer when I first tried it but now it's all I eat. |

I loved the story, I enjoyed the storyteller, and I enjoyed not knowing what race or ethnicity the storyteller is because it really underscored the "bitches come and bitches go" sentiment.
Not knowing if the story was personal to the speaker or just being repeated is what really made my imagination go wild - was the story originally about a Mexican gang member or a white suburban kid and his little sister? The story went so full circle I was surprised by the "twist." I just got a kick out of it, a nice change of pace heading into the holiday hiatus, and I'm interested in hearing more so thanks KATG |

It's a good story and I like it very much but the first time I heard him tell it was on "This American Life" and in that telling the line he used where his sister offered to get revenge on the ex-girlfriend was better...
She said something along the lines of "I'll whip that bitch's ass with a dog chain." I use this line often in my daily life... |
