We Hate Movies is not covered by Podmass, and is mentioned with about the same frequency as KATG in the Podmass forums. How did We Hate Movies land in the #4 spot of the readers poll if not with a push from that podcast's fanbase? Why didn't Kyle Ryan give We Hate Movies the same shit he's given KATG? Just because KATG has a larger fanbase, and, therefore, garnered better results?

What an asshole.

Fashion Is Danger! You read Podmass too? Why in the blue blazes don't you comment on KATG there? It's only me and two other people I see regularly mention KATG, and one of them is Danny, and he's not even regular, so unless you're the other one you're leaving me hanging. We Hate Movies gets 10 times the love KATG does over there.

Ya know who he reminds me of? I know this is way off base. He could be an oblivious nut which is fine. He didn't pay attention or whatever. Doubt it. But, at any rate, he reminds me of a Mr. Mark Yoshimoto Nemcoff. That's who. Fuck did THAT take work making sure the spelling was A-okay. It felt with a single word he was saying just too much. Too extra extra. Just extra. Maybe I'm being too sensitive. But it felt the same as Mark. Good ol' dickhead Mark (who can be heard in one of my favorite episodes 811: Octopus Genitalia) It reminds me of this actually...And I quote (and copy and pasted):

"Hey Keith and the Girl listeners... if you're looking here, guess what... you've been Punk'd, bitches. The way search engines work is they pick up even the tiny words hidden on your page, so when I put this on my site, whenever someone searches for "Keith and the Girl", "Diggnation" or any of the other terms hidden in black, including the words "hidden" "in" and "black", somewhere in that search will come up "Pacific Coast Hellway"... LOL."

Substitute the fine fellas at AV Club with the PCH nonsense and there ya go. But what the fuck do I know. And to keep in spirits with my borderline nonsensical ramblings when I get mad. I would suggest, like Mr. Nemcoff begged to Keith. He should bring a knife.

Whatever. I feel better now. Missed opportunities for playing favorites in my eyes. But whatevs.

So the AV Club was surprised that KATG overwhelmed their contest. Hey I remember something like this happening with a contest to be Keith's opening act.
Maybe AV Club should take a page out of the KATG play book and see if all the votes came from the same IP address.

But then again when you have a contest where you can enter as often as you want, smart people will find a way a win.
