How about this for a halftime compromise. Two bands do the half time show like normal and that's all the people watching on tv see. But the fans who attended the Superbowl get to take a thumb drive home with them with the half time show plus two additional songs from each band.

What your suggesting defeats the entire purpose, as it's not at all, not even a bit, live. They would be providing them a thumb drive of shit they can get for free online. It's a ridiculous suggestion.

Nick was a great guest, so I did something I've never done before - I went and checked out his podcast.

Naturally, I waited until after I'd listened to all the KATG podcasts; and was sitting in my car with nothing to listen to apart from a few 2nd tier feeds.

The 1st ep started out a little weird, but soon hit its stride; and culminated with some truly memorable quotes, including something like "I support right to life until the baby is delivered, then I support the death penalty".

However if you only listen to 1 other ep outside the KATG world, then listen to ep #2. Myq Kaplan is on it, and it is a triumph (due in no small part to Myq's magic). The last line uttered in this ep had me crying with laughter; and my laughter was matched only by the sounds of Myq pissing himself laughing at the sublime delivery of this incredibly magical comedic moment.

Fucking listen to ep#2 or you will go to your grave a lesser person.

Don't bother with ep#3, it was shit.
