No matter what the guest is talking about: childhood trauma, their mother dying, rape: I'm taking your Oscars update.

It isn't my place, but I feel like I should share.

I was thinking about the Johnny thing last night. Every time Chemda has brought this up since it happened, my heart races. I have been there and it really hits home. Two of my closest friends were all diagnosed Bipolar and one had a cocaine habit. I was able to rebuild the drug addled relationship strangely enough. But not the other.

I think I should direct this to Chemda. The thing is Chemda, assuming you see this. You are a good person. "Logical" may be a better descriptor but "good" works too. See, because your level of patience and care far exceed anything I can even conceive much less act upon. I don't always side with Keith but when it comes to personal attacks, shit even some disagreements that turn into arguments. I have to skew to his side. And it has cost me a good number of friends for just throwing my hands up and saying "Fuck this bullshit!". I just can't deal with some people's issues.

So hey, you are far stronger than I. I wish I could do it, I just don't think I know how. Maybe I'm selfish, vindictive, immature, cowardly, or just conceited. Whatever the hell it is I certainly hold crazy grudges. Hearing you care this much is inspiring. Naivety be damned. It really shows how much you give a fuck.

Just sayin'.

PS: Dallas Buyers Club was better than all those movies. But True Detective is where Matthew McConaughey is kicking ass. Jared Leto on the other hand was awesome in DBC. Then again I don't like slave movies unless they star Jamie Foxx and explosions.

I don't get the JFOD / Jonnie comparison.

I was pleased Alfonso Cuaron got the gong for Best Director. I watched Gravity today and thought it was a great piece of cinema. Sandra Bullock looked friggin' buff!!

I still regard his 2006 film "Children of Men" to be possibly one of the greatest movies of all time and this Oscar perhaps is recognition of all his great work.
