The wording of this poll cracked me up.

Sterling bought the Clippers in 1981 for $12.5 million. The latest valuation of the franchise was about $575 million. There's speculation that the sale of the Clippers could end up in a bidding war with the final price reaching $1 billion or higher (considering they have a team in contention of a championship, with marketable stars in the LA market). Talk about a pay-day.

Most NBA teams do not make huge profit year to year. However, it's almost a guarantee they won't lose money either due to profit sharing and the last collective bargaining agreement which resulted in the players agreeing to take a smaller share of revenue (after going through a long lock-out). Even when the Clippers were the laughing-stock of the league for 30 years, with the lowest win percentage of any team in professional sports, they were making money.

Even if the owners all vote to force a sale of the team, I can see Sterling try to delay it as long as possible. For these billionaire owners, these NBA teams are more a hobby and for bragging rights than a money making enterprise. Seeing as the Clippers have good odds to win it all this year (9:1), I bet he would love to hold on to the team at least long enough to get the trophy in his hands and meet Obama and all that bullshit. He's 80, he probably doesn't care about the money, it's about his ego now.

Here's a history of Sterling's racist behaviour: Donald Sterling Racist History: A List Of Incidents - Business Insider

EDIT: Ok he probably doesn't care about meeting Obama per se, but I'm sure he'd enjoy everything else that comes with winning a championship. I'm also wondering now if the complete NBA ban would mean he couldn't go to the oval office or even get his hands on the trophy.

Fuck that stupid cunt who wrote in about Andrea. If that fur bit was all he took away from that ep, then she's better off without him as a fan.

I hope vegetables feel pain. I deliberately mistreated a carrot this morning after hearing this arsehole talk about sentient beings, how we don't need meat, and all that bullshit. Fuck him, and fuck all these judgemental cunts, be they vegan or religious.

Angry Andrea Allan = Cruella Devil

Woah there, Andrea here, I need to defend my honor after being called a disgusting murderer. Her is my response to the listener who is convinced that I'm a cold blooded killer. Read it and weep, or don't it's super long :0

Dear Listener,
I think you misunderstood my sentiments when I was talking about my fur jacket and my views on the fur industry. Firstly, I was not bragging or relishing in the idea of animals being mistreated or tortured. I even said, I would pay more for a garment (just like I try to do with meat products) if I knew the animal was treated in a humane way. But unfortunately it is very hard to find this information in the fashion industry. Chemda asked me if I felt guilty particularly for wearing the fur and I said, "How could I? I eat meat and I work in a fashion company that participates in the manufacturing of the garments that have fur". I have made my choices in how I live and should be allowed to do so, just like you are allowed to think or say I am disgusting. I like wearing fur and I eat meat. It's just part of how I was raised and who I am. I was not laughing about the animals' who suffer I'm being frank what choices I make and how I feel about them, because I was asked. Also, it's a comedy talk show, I'm putting out an exaggeration or caricature of myself for entertainment purposes. Duh.

Something I didn't talk about on the show was the fact that I volunteered for a no kill animal shelter for over a year. I rescued countless animals, did the shelter's laundry and cleaned on the weekends, fostered numerous cats (sometimes up to 3 at a time in my studio apartment) and worked for hours at adoption events. I currently have two cats, one of which is a foster who when I received her was severely underweight and on the brink of death. Now she is healthy and I can be proud knowing I helped her recover. I make choices in my life that harm animals, yes, but I also give my time and energy to do things that help them. Everything isn't so black and white and I hope that you can more clearly understand what kind of person I am.

P.s don't throw paint on me that jacket was fucking expensive

Yeah, way to teach Sterling a hard lesson.
