This twitter mute follow bullshit is bullshit. If I don't wanna read what you say, I won't follow you. That's the point. Keith mentioned something about people then asking why you don't follow them and to that, i say who cares?
Many times, I've gotten friend requests on facebook from people I "kinda knew" in high school or have met people and after one day gotten a friend request. At least ten times, when I don't accept (because I couldn't give a shit about your life or what you ate for lunch), they have repeatedly sent requests, sent me private messages and have gone to the point of posting on mutual friends' and my boyfriend's feed passive aggressively asking them why I won't be their internet friend. Are you fucking serious? The pussification of America. (And proof that people only want what they can't have, a local comedian I met once sent me a request and I ignored it, though I enjoyed their company, and a week later they brought it up on the mic and made a joke about how they was wooing me.) tl;dr, social media has made everyone a fucking pussy and I don't care what buzzfeed article you found funny.
