i watched the whole song. That's gotta be a thumbs up.
I enjoyed the guitarist with his middle finger constantly out, and was perplexed by the drumming technique at 2:42. |

The majority of what I understand the world to be: I took from comedy albums.
I'm white. I'm super 'glow-in-the-dark' whitey Irish. I don't know the first thing about Black people or their struggle. How the fuck could I? Read a book? The Life of Frederick Douglas book. Watch 'The Butler' movie. Really get in touch with my white liberal guilt? It's offensive. (I'm guessing) What Black person gives a fuck about white interpretation of Black? So I go with comedy. Black comedy like Patrice O'Neal. He said, (in one of the greatest stand-ups of all time) Elephant in the Room. He was like, look, "We just wish, white people, would never talk about race...ever" Patrice was right! What Black person gives a fuck about anti-racism punk rock? I'm white. The majority of you are white. The best that can be done is acting right. Anything else comes off as disingenuous, fake, and gross. |

The show got better as it went on, chuckles all around but Chemda was on fire today and had me in stitches.
A kid up the road from me growing up did some martial art. I did not. I was giving him shit one day about how he was still a yellow belt and he tried to kick me. I caught his foot, tripped him to the ground and dragged him around by his feet laughing at his skills. Asshole move but at least he didn't think he was tough shit anymore. I've never seen people have anything but uncoordinated pathetic looking fights. Nothing even close to someone showing some great kung fu technique. Grappling and boxing sound like much better options.

I'm white. I'm not allowed to say the N word. That's just the way it is. No matter how fucking amped up I get from my rap playlist at the gym, I cannot sing the N-word in a song. I am white and it's wrong. I only sing the n-word in a song when I am alone and still check all the corners of the house to make sure there's no one around to hear me.
