Well there's a point at which "care" is no longer really the operative word. A 50 year old isn't really in anyone's care, no matter how much tutelage he's under. So it's not about age at all, but you can't put a law on the books that captures the essence of the issue, because it's so different case by case.

The thing I said about student's being older maybe being okay with me really wasn't referring to the abuse of authority aspect (as in, she could fail me so I better stick my dick in her), which is pretty much always wrong so moot point, I guess. Just referring to the part of the conversation being had on the show about age.
