There are certain diseases that, as a medical practitioner, you are mandated to report. One might be herpes, as in your baby just came in for treatment and a nurse needs to ask how that came to be. At this point the parents either lie or they are honest. If they are honest, I'm sure this is reported to the county health department and child protective services. I don't see how this insanity continues to go on, especially when there is the spread of disease and trauma to this child. Either way this is one of the most disgusting things I've ever heard of.

Religious freedom stops when there is harm to self or others. Sorry, unless you belong to a F'd up government launching a crusade, there are limitations. And even then you may be considered a war criminal.
