Men with weak handshakes are as horrendous as Jerry Sandusky in a basement with a young boy.
Everyone knows this. |

90% of us have to put up with the 10% of you who can't handle their shit.
It would be real sad to see a kid with a white puffy glove sticking out of the back of his pants as he leaves the bathroom at Disney World. Why isn't "I don't know, but I'll find out." acceptable? |
Corporations OWN Politics
We liberals like democrats who speak so eloquently. Bill Clinton. President Barak Obama. What exactly have they done? Nothing for Human Rights. There's more war than ever before. I don't get it. I think they're fake.
ALL Republicans are getting huge donations from private interests and Democrats are no different. It's sickening, but we're SO HOPEFUL we show up and vote anyways. I listen to Bill Maher and sometimes I think, "Why are you cheerleading the Dems? You know they're pussies who do nothing. I have faith in two political commentators: Cenk Uygur and Jon Stewart. Keith says "It's all bullshit." I don't think he's being apathetic. I realize he's been around long enough to recognize the game and futility of it all. . . . . |

I've always wondered how "fist bumps" caught on but the name for it didn't. I'm all for Pounds, or dapz depending on where you're from regionally. I think they are way more informal and welcoming than a handshake. I just wish it was more socially acceptable to give women dapz.

How Bill Clinton makes over $150,000,000.00
Hey Keith and Chemda,
Love the show, almost never comment, but I just thought I'd give some insight into how the Clintons make so much money speaking WITHOUT necessarily being backed by specific corporate interests. Probably about 4 years ago Bill Clinton came through my home town (Victoria, British Columbia) to give a speech. Being a (relatively) respected ex President and Rhodes scholar (aka smarty pants) he managed to draw a crowd of at least 10,000 filling a local stadium. Tickets having cost upwards of $175 per person, just to see a guy speak for 75 minutes, doing the math he made 1.75 million for ONE speaking engagement! After 100 speeches he's made $175 million even without wallstreet/corporate interest backing. They still could be on top of their speaking engagements, and Hillary's comments were incredibly ignorant and ridiculous, but wanted to make a point that they are able to generate that sort of income all on their own! LOVE you guys. caseofthemondays |
I guess the Cintons are a few of the moral ones. I read it differently is all.
Cigars all around. |
I don't see why everyone is upset with Hilary. I love when rich politicians make it seem like they are on the regular person's financial level, with less than $100 in their checking accounts for the next two weeks until payday, living off of Ramen Noodles and Chef Boyardee while the Secret Service drives her in her private town car to yet another fundraising benefit for her presidential campaign. Don't worry though, the lobster and caviar at the benefit were TERRIBLE so she can definitely relate to the working class struggles.

If you're sitting at a desk writing a letter, you wouldn't say you only use 25% of your limbs would ya? WOULD YA???

Is it wrong that I was getting hard when Chemda was talking in that 'Disney' voice?

Thinking about how the Clinton's had to "pay back their debts" ...
Assuming for the moment that's true... yeah... that must have been pretty tough, being able to pay them back. The majority of the population spends their entire LIVES trying to do that. Fuck you. |
Either Hillary Clinton is lying about being broke or she's not qualified to be president.
|
Didn't the Clintons make a shit ton-O-dough back in the 80's with the Whitewater Scandal?
|

Their conduct in moving cash around during those land deals was the focus of the investigations into Whitewater but investigators couldn't make anything stick to the Clintons. |
Hey Dean. Do you have an opinion on the Mena Airport/ CIA Iran Contra scandal that occurred during Bill Clinton's time as Governor?

Did I stutter? Is your name Scumhook?? No sir.
I'm just curious as to the extent of your American political knowledge. You seem to know quite a bit, (probably more than the average yank) so...yeah man. Just curious. |
Quote:
I'm into American politics, yes, but I'm not that familiar with the whole Mena Airport conspiracy. Iran Contra? Reagan's albatross. He shoulda gone to jail for that one. |
Yeah the Mena Conspiracy is an interesting one. Apparently the CIA ran cocaine straight north from Columbia up to western Arkansas.
There were two teens found dead on a train track nearby. Their autopsies found that they'd been killed previous to 'both laying down on the train track and getting run over.' Rumor is they witnessed one of the drug smuggling planes land and were murdered. |

A friend once explained something to me.
He said he was using this lawyer. The lawyer was high profile. He used him because he knew that this guy ate lunch every day with the prosecutor. He explained that these guys put on a show in the courtroom. However, much of what they do is give and take and off the field (so to speak.) Now. These politicians are the same. They put on a big show to their respective supporters. Republican and Democrat, it really doesn't matter. They need favors constantly. They work together. It's probably why change in American policy is incredibly slow. Unless of course a big cash donor is involved. It's also why third party voices that best represent the democratic process are shut out. People who 'play ball' are trusted and pulled into the inner echelon of Washington DC. Rather than write all this shit. I prolly could have just said, "House of Cards. It really is a documentary with weird 4th wall camera shots" :D |

When does that guy who feels like he has to call in to every show get his own spinoff?
|
We're trying to introduce it slowly.
|
Greg Warren is an amazing guest. Hilarious, hilarious show. Greg kind of reminds me of Chris Laker. They both have that sad desperation quality you look for in a top tier guest.
A+ would listen again! |
Greg going to the bathroom this episode made for great comedy.

I have seen Bill Clinton, George W Bush, and Condelezza Rice speak in front of massive convention audiences of 15k-20k IT nerds. If you told me they each made 500k for those engagements I would not be surprised at all. Conferences like this are usually around 3000/head so there is a ton of cash to pay folks like this
