Christian would hold the moral high ground to his grave. The Hamas charter calls for the elimination of the Jews. This isn't an enemy who can be beaten to submission, they'll keep coming because it's fundamental to who they are as a people.

When this latest war kicked off Israel should have attacked full force and destroyed Hamas. Now, thanks to Netanyahu's dithering, they're faced with a strong enemy and failing global support. Hamas is fighting a fourth generation war and doing exceedingly well at it while Israel festers using second generation tactics. Now they've pulled back to fortify their position which, while psychologically comforting, turns this into a war of attrition and Hamas have to numbers to outlast them.

The media has been extremely unhelpful to Israel by just reporting the rising bodycount. Completely ignoring Israel's sophisticated Iron Dome defences that keep casualties way down whereas Hamas has treated their population as collateral to gain international support.

Jews were dispersed throughout the world when the Muslim Ottoman empire ousted them from their homeland, the UN reestablished their land with the fall of the Ottoman empire and now this newest caliphate is hoping to oust them again.

I think Christian is wrong, but to be fair, Chemda does go with the strawman arguments often. It's not reiterating if you change the actual argument. It's just that this time, Christian couldn't possibly be right 'cause he didn't say anything.

"(sp?)" is something that should never ever appear in any sort of online communication whatsoever. Presumably, the person typing it is either sitting at a magic internet box with access to all the knowledge in the world, or they're holding a smaller version of that magic box in their hand that will tell them anything they want to know by holding a button and asking their question out loud.
