I loved the toaster fire talk.

When my microwave caught on fire, I had a similar reaction like "Oh, good. Of course, my microwave would catch fire now, when I am super hung over and just trying to nuke some mac and cheese." I managed to put the fire out with a tea towel and now I have bought a fire blanket which honestly is so much more practical in a kitchen than an extinguisher spraying foam all over or trying to put water on possibly electrical things.

I will say, not once did it occur to me to put my microwave into the toilet to put the fire out.

I never heard of a fire towel before. I tried looking on Amazon by only found towels with pictures of fire trucks on them. Where'd you get yours?

Ugh. I've been up all night and misread that. Fire blanket came up with a bunch of results. I have a mini fire extinguisher in the kitchen but the wet blanket is good as a backup. Good idea!

Amazon.com: fire blanket

This ep, (along with all the cool new KATG app and customer service) are great examples of how Marisela and Michael have improved KATG.

I'm also adding Windex to my grocery list. Very important.

A+

"Automata" - robots become sentient and kidnap a human

The tagline on the poster for this movie is:

"Your time is coming to an end. Ours is now beginning"

Robots kidnap a human in the first trailer for dark sci-fi film 'Automata' | The Verge

With just its first trailer, Automata easily takes a place beside Christopher Nolan's Interstellar on the list of the best-looking sci-fi films coming this year. The film takes place in a dark future where robots are quickly gaining consciousness, and things go bad when a small number of them actually become sentient and kidnap a human. What really is sentience and humanity and true thought? Sure, these questions have all been explored before, but with its Blade Runner-esque vision and District 9-kind of grittiness, it looks like Automata will have an interesting take on it all. Plus, Javier Bardem plays a robot, which is pretty great. It'll be released on October 10th.

Loved this episode.

I also enjoyed Keith's mild disdain for sex clubs (in 2037 too)
