I agree with Keith about not putting up your junk on SnapChat.

However, as soon as Chemda brought up Skype and Keith denied that it's the same thing, he became a hypocrite. Putting explicit photos and videos up on Skype is the exact same thing as uploading to SnapChat, and to argue against that is insane.

Chemda brought up the poll as soon as this dialogue happened and for that reason I am basing my poll answer on whether or not SnapChat and Skype are the same. The poll is very vague otherwise.

Skype is different to me because it doesn't record your video. If the recipient isn't an asshole, you're safe.

Snapchat, of course, does record your antics (so it can be sent to someone else). In this case, a third party can hack your saved business.

There's a big difference.

Before we can even get to today's poll; we need a preliminary poll: Are SnapChat and Skype essentially the same thing? Otherwise people are going to vote based on how they interpreted K and C's shouting over one another.

I think Chemda exhausted the point of who to blame a little too much. The fact is that blame is pointless. If my identity and bank account were infiltrated I would not be surprised. But there's very little choice about that so if it happens it happens. The pics are out there and anyone surprised by that is stupid. No matter how many smart people at apple put in however many firewalls/blockers or whatever the fuck you want to call them, there will ALWAYS be someone out there with the capability and determination to get through it. ALWAYS.
I said this right when the Jennifer Lawrence pics came out. I also said I'd have a great deal more respect for her if her statement was just "fuck all you people." Her swarm of lawyers trying to get the pics down is such a futile attempt and so pointless. If Keith's dick pic got out there because of some old skype video, I don't think his reaction would be super surprised and getting lawyers on the case trying to get them off. I could be wrong but I think it'd be more like "Well it's out there. Enjoy it scumbags."
I see your point Chemda but the blame game is pointless. It's the equivalent of putting a random persons dick with no condom inside you and then being surprised that you got aids. The internet is not your wife/husband who you trust. People on it can completely ruin your life and thats a risk we all live with.

YES everything you have ever done is basically up for grabs nowadays, my paypal account had fraudulent charged once, my purse was stolen with my phone and cards in it and if you believe that anything you do online (that includes texting btw) can not be cracked/tracked you are a sillygoose.
Its a numbers game, try to be reasonably safe and hope that your are not interesting enough for a hard-core attack like what happened to those celebrities.

But I absolutely do not think that asking my government to play my nanny on the internet is the solution and I would even less want the still so very conservative US government to look through everything I do online and decide if they allow it. NET NEUTRALITY FTW

I see what's happening. You and Chemda are feeling judged because I'm acting like you put yourself at risk and I don't. It's like when I called Kelly Clarkson fat. Chemda heard me calling HER fat.

If you need me to admit I put myself at risk, I'm fine with that. I'll say I put myself at risk.

The think is, I will be naked on Skype again. I will never use a program that saves my picture and sends it to someone over the Internet.
