You are probably right; Im just overreacting. I have a friend who is going down next month to help rebuild houses with habitat; guess i'll get the word soon enough. I think you are right about the quarter and the garden district being OK, except for the trees. But so many of the other neighborhoods will probably have to be bulldozed and rebuilt. I doubt that they are going to be able to afford to rebuild in the same style. The city was so much more than just the quarter and the Garden District. City Park...all the other neighborhoods and little shotgun houses; all the trees. I even liked the crappy neighborhoods because of the old, unusual houses. Weird old stuff. The people, the young people...will they return? Ya, it was the most or one of the most dangerous cities as far as crime goes. But I still loved it. Love it. This city was more like a person than a place to me. Puke and all.

My Love for N.O. does not run that deep, but the people were really cool, and it saddens me that they just didn't lose a few things, but EVERYTHING. I hope the new "chocolate city" will be close to the original. But we all know big developers and franchise owners are buying land from the old slum lords and poor families for pennies on the dollar. and soon the city will be nothing but a character (?) of its fomer self.

I can only guess, but I imagine the shirt was tucked into the denim shorts. Isn't that kind of a rule with the denim shorts?

The guests were fine, you can't expect them to be as good as Keith and Chemda because they haven't done 200 shows. Hari had some good stories and Jonah had some good cracks.

On the tipping subject...

While playing at a few different poker rooms in LV a number of dealers told me Joe Hachem, the current world series main event winner, didn't tip a dime to the dealer at the final table.

$7.5m...

Hari and Jonah both sucked. He's not funny and she's a miserable bitch, luckily Keith and Chemda are so good that they can cover for shitty guests. Please don't have either of them on again.

Why are we being so damn critical of Hari and Jonah?? Do you think that every guest Larry King has hits a grand slam?

You can say that you didn't like their stories or you thought they were boring, but at least Keith and the Girl are keeping the show fresh by bringing in new personalities.
