I want to know the brilliant catcall that led to a relationship, Toni.

Also, how many women need to tell YOU that they don't enjoy catcalling for it to be ok for me to say that women don't like catcalling?

Also, funk you, Toni.

Interesting. So catcalling is a cultural thing? Do Blacks enjoy a good catcall now and then?

When is catcalling appropriate in the hood? Is it ok at night when you're walking alone? What about early mornings? Ever get catcalled mid walk of shame? Like when you're not feeling so sexy?

I don't get catcalled. But as an attention whore; I can see the appeal. Also, (and I've been wondering this for some time now) if you holler back at a catcall, are you then a Holla Back Girl?! - trademark Gwen Stefani.

It's a culture/ woman thing Keith. You don't get it. See, catcalling can end in a date or marriage, but also, (and this is where it gets unfortunate) carries the potential of ending in homicide or gang rape. So you just never know.

Best to have a knife. Also, when you end up marrying the man who catcalled you is it customary to bring the blade to the ceremony? Maybe put in on display with a nice floral arrangement?

I've had loads of women in my life. Friends, relatives, girlfriends, co-workers, etc. I also am a frequent user of the world wide interweb, which I understand is home to quite a few women. And this is the first time I've heard of a female saying she enjoys being catcalled. Congrats to Toni for blowing the lid off the catcalling conspiracy.

Thanks Toni. I'm sure it's difficult to voice a minority opinion. I feel my perspective has been broadened.

Flerchin now undertands that some women do like catcalling even when they are obviously pretending to be listening to something on their headphones to drown out catcalling, and he will react accordingly. It's called being open-minded.

Long posts aside, I still stand by my opinion. It is what it is. I'm not trying to convince anyone otherwise....but to say an entire group feels the same way as one person is a bit much.
