Idaho state troopers are terrible with out of state plates, especially ones from Washington, Oregon, and Colorado for obvious stupid reasons. If you guys have to pass through Idaho on the tour and you have product from Colorado, I suggest to keep the bag in a jar of peanut butter or a ground coffee can. It's supposed to mask the smell pretty well. I've sent some product in a peanut butter jar to New Mexico and there were no problems.
They also have secret stashes made out of Arizona ice tea cans that I've seen work pretty well. Traveling with pot is totally doable, you just have to prepare beforehand. Last edited by Tulipaloozi; 12-16-2014 at 11:35 AM. |

Pain, Doctors and Waiting to Get Help
So I super duper identify with Keith waiting to schedule the MRI as I have recently gone through similar stuff. My knees are crap just like Keith's are. Earlier this year I was diagnosed with arthritis at the wonderful age of 24. HUZZAH! (I still can't spell that word right without spell check *sigh*) Anyway, in July things started to get a lot worse with my left knee, my bad one, and I started to get pain in other places like my ankles, hips, and shoulders. I did not tell anyone about it because just like Keith I was TERRIFIED because I knew this meant surgery. If you have been in pain like this for so long you get a spidey sense about what a change in pain can truly mean. In October I finally said something and went to the doctor. It was super difficult to do and it continues to be a mess because I have to make the doctor understand what I am going through. Doctors often dismiss concerns unless you phrase it in a certain way. I have enough experience now with them that I know to do so. The appointment where I got the bad news that I was going to have to have surgery my husband came with me for the first time. He was amazed at how little time the doctor spent with me, how I described everything in a unique way and how dismissive he was of my complaints. Doctors, nurses, and other health care workers can be good but many of them are too burned out to give truly helpful care.
Keith saying that he was scared made me feel so much better about the guilt I felt for not saying it for so long. It does not make sense to others if you have not had some of the experiences with health care that Keith and I have, I'm making an assumption here Keith I apologize if I am incorrect. I know how scared you are Keith but you can do it. The pain will probably go a way for a little while if you do so even if it is incredibly frustrating. I can always be your knee buddy. Knee crips for life. KATG is what is going to get me through the knee scope that I have next month and the massive surgery in the summer. Thank you so much for all that you do. <3

It's not that I'm scared of the surgery itself. I'd go under today. It's all the frustrating stuff that surrounds it as you have to assume you're not even being listened to.
All those doctor shows on TV can go fuck themselves. Grey's Anatomy isn't drama. It's fantasy. |

My first experience with weed was not fun. It wasn't relaxing, the taste of it in my mouth made me nauseous, I started to have full body spasms and couldn't stop them and then my body felt like needles all over.
It's not for me I was kinda hoping for something different |

When I was around 17 or 18, my sister and I found a bunch of my dad's "High Times" magazines in the basement and a little wooden box (which happened to be empty). A few years later, we got confirmation from my mom of what we suspected. My dad was the president of a fraternity and was also a non-drinker, but clearly not sober.
I guess we all assumed he was done but with all the legalization talk, he's been more open about it and how he would smoke again if he went to Denver. But then at a family brunch the weekend after Thanksgiving, the conversation turned to legalization and when was the last time you were high. My dad's answer was "about 2 years ago" . . . |
