I'll think about it. Words hurt.

I'm truly relieved after hearing this episode.
After 10 years of listening, I can pretty much gauge where Keith and Chemda are going to stand on an issue and I was confused with Chemda's stance I literally was yelling at Chemda in my car and that's usually reserved for Keith. I totally get the point Chemda was making, it just wasn't the point Keith was making. I have an 18 year old daughter that is smart and beautiful. And I want her to see herself as both of those things. I think where Chemda got stuck was the "old man's" pervasive image of young girls which is still very alive out there. My daughter's dad has that view, he would say "put on a sweater" because he doesn't want to think of her as a sexual being. Well, too bad old man. The collage of pictures was like a beauty pageant the mom was putting the daughter in. So, you're both right - about what you each were talking about - which was different things. |

But I'm more right. Agreed. Chemda, like me, is a class act. And I forgive her and the 50% of you idiots that voted against me.
But not Danny yet. He had a condescending laugh like no other, and I still need time to heal. |

Did Jessica run into Reese Witherspoon? I enjoy hiking but I'm not in the best shape to take on a hike like this.

When Pat Dixon was on to talk about Woody Allen and there was a heated argument, I posted some bullshit about Chemda tanking the show with her emotionality. The post was read on the show, which was embarrassing, and Chemda addressed it, which was nice.
Then more recently the whole Pat thing came to light and some time after that I remembered what I'd posted. I realized how shitty it must have been to have to deal with Pat and then read my bullshit. I feel bad about that and I've been meaning to apologize. I'm sorry. I hope you feel really great about yourself. I had a realization today that when I listen to KATG there's a part of my brain that gets hyped up. I listen to two people who are good at saying "Fuck you!" say "Fuck you!" for 90 minutes and I'm like "Yeah, fuck you!" at this or that. Then I get on the internet and say dumb things about stuff I don't really care about. I wonder if a lot of KATG listeners are going through the same thought process, and that's the cause of some of these bombastic comments. |

Saw Wild on Sunday and had Jessica on my mind, so I'm glad you guys had her back. Great show!
As a sidenote, the Twitter account on her KATG profile no longer exists. Last edited by eoguy; 01-21-2015 at 01:48 AM. Reason: Added an extra note on Twitter. |

What a great ep!!
Maybe it's the juxtaposition of a happy sparkly ep up against the ball-rending pain of selfie-gate, or maybe that it was just an objectively great ep; but whatever the reason, it fucking rocked. Jess is a great guest, and her courage and drive have inspired me. Tonight, as I drive home, I will think about walking, and later tonight as I sit on my fat arse eating and drinking, I will also think about walking. |
