A coma is totally different to being brain dead or even being a "vegetable" the terms are not interchangeable. If you are brain dead your brain ceases to function, the only thing keeping your body alive are machines. If you are in a coma you still have tons of brain activity. You don't need machines for your organs to function although machines are used to monitor organ functions and brain activity.
If you are brain dead you ain't coming back from that shit. The stories you hear of people "coming back from the dead" are usually people in comas that are misdiagnosed because the person pronouncing death, didn't bother to or weren't able to check for brain function. Also it seems that Bobbi Kristina Brown was never actually pronounced brain dead, and her family never really intended to take her off life support. |
The stories we hear about people coming back from the dead are people in a coma that have been misdiagnosed?
Oh, okay. That clears it up. No worries now. |

Sorry I worded that wrong. |
Lauren. Bro. You're one of my favourite people I've never met. But I can't hear half of what you say on this episode because you keep going into this meek voice that even Keith's beloved compressors can't compensate for.

What does the semantics matter? If I'm pronounced dead, then keep my body around for a bit. What do I care the reason? "Are you misdiagnosing?" "No." "You sure? Cause this half-robot said that you guys..." |
I understand the cop feature is a little strange, but Waze is one of the most useful apps I have ever used. It tells you what kind of accident is around you, how long the traffic lasts, where it stops, and a lot of other useful information.
However, people are inputting the data themselves, so it's not completely accurate in terms of how long something lasts, unless users are constantly updating it (which is possible if you're in a city with a very high number of active Waze users). One compromise would be to only allow the user to see police that are on or along the highway / freeway and not in residential neighbourhoods. |
Waze app
I think the Waze app is like gas buddy ... Anybody could edit\update. The info will never be fully accurate or up to date. Only a percentage of cop car data will ever be entered in. This won't be that much more info then a radar detector.
