The bit about "The Talk" got me laughing. So how's this for separation of the genders - It was probably about 4th grade, the health teacher and the school nurse rounded up all the girls for "The Talk". All us boys kinda looked around at each other like WTF? Our teacher explained (briefly) that they had to go talk about girl things. We all got to watch a movie about snowmobiling.

An hour later, the girls come back looking all smug and mature and we're sitting there making pretend snowbank jumps with our hands (complete with sound effects. Waaaaaahhaaaaa).

Ah to be a manly boy growing up in Northern Minnesota in the late 70's. None of this metero-sexual crap for me...
