I interviewed for a corporate office job 11 years ago, had a septum ring (nose piercing like a bull), lip ring, dark blue hair and visible tattoos. I've been with the company ever since and while I've lost the piercings, I have more tattoos and my hair color changes, at the least, 1-2 times a year. I haven't had a problem climbing the ladder or getting raises I deserve. Its totally not an oddball thing anymore (which, cool, but also, makes me sad cause I'm sick of seeing "celebrities" with blue hair..).

I feel like Mara's only contributions to topics was to some how steer the conversation back to something about her. I don't remember her doing that before or all the like, ya knows but damn that made it little tough to listen to.

I also need to stop looking at the forums while listening cause you guys built up that gang dick thing so much that I didn't even find it funny when I finally heard it. That was one less heart Keith touched today and it's all you guyses (okay my) fault.

All I know is I'm glad she came back on. If you didn't like her appearance on KATG; she was spectacular on TTSWD. Chemda asked her horribly uncomfortable questions about Danny, (like he wasn't in the room/ sitting next to her) and as per usual, hilarity ensued.

Also, Mara's twitter account is fantastic. I just didn't get the whole "Never be on KATG again/ Robin Williams name disparaged thing. But at least she had the balls to talk about it.

Septum piercings are fun. I used to have a giant 10 gauge in my giant schnozzer. When I got it done my eyes started pouring tears. The heavily tattooed piercer guy was all "Oh that happens to everyone. Your nasal passages are connected to yer eyes."I still felt like a little bitch.

I miss piercings though. Got tired of my daughter asking wtf was in my nose. It's hard to be punk rock in your late 30's. Unadvisable even.
