in my defense....i was pretty wasted when the check came. at that point, i totally was unable to do math, so i did ask how much they wanted me to pay. i think i threw in 32 bucks (a sammich, and at least a whole pitcher just to me, maybe two), i hope that was enough, william (who is awesome!)i know overpaid, last i heard, somehow, they still came up like 80 bucks short.

also, i was still very sober at the beginning of the night when the wine was spilled, im just saying. also, adams girlie said the dark colored bag was waterproof, and that like 100 dollar glass of wine was a white wine, so probably the bag wasnt ruined chemda, not that you have a reason to feel guilty, because, after all, when i saw you were moving my table, i got this sudden burst terrotorial rage and knocked the glass of wine all over you, and the bag was just in the way. it was totally my fault. and just maybe when nobody offered to help, it was because we knew she would be back soon and didnt want to look like accomplices, we could just blame the jew girl.

Just ordered the DVD, looking forward to it.

I liked the comment about The Office plugging the iPod for a whole episode. I found it really obvious and irritating. I did enjoy the next epsiode, the one where Dwight gets a concussion. Where he's talking to Pam and she mentions she got an MP3 player from Roy for Christmas. I forget the brand and Dwight says "Whoa that's even better than an iPod!".

I know some writer was like, "I'll show you fuckers for making me write a whole episode about the iPod. I'm gonna say it sucks the next episode, how do you like that !"

Looking forward to the second DVD. My brother is a huge fan, and plays shit from the soundboard to people he kills in Halo. My stepfather, on the other hand, thought that Keith wasn't funny.

That check thing always gets me. I don't understand what goes through people's heads when they leave a check without paying their share. ESPECIALLY in cases where the people you're with have alot more money than you. Even if someone assumes that Keith and Chemda have "made it", why would you think that's a license to get free drinks and food? Wouldn't you be ashamed to skip the check, assuming that someone else has more money than you so they'll pick it up?

A buddy of mine recently developed a piece of software that has pretty much made him a rich man. But the thought never even crosses my mind when we go out for drinks that he'll pay the tab since he's got more money than me. Hell, I'd be embarassed to try not paying, no matter how much money I know he has.

It's amazing that shit like this even needs to be said, but here it is for anyone who still doesn't know: Pay your fucking share, no matter where you are, who you're with, and who makes what kind of money. Period.

so, it's been a couple years ago but it bears repeating..
I'm out with my buddy and his girl and my girl at a bar having some drinks.. Now at this point I need to say that it's not just an acquaintance. Me and this guy have been painting houses together all through undergrad. Anyway, he's got his check and I've got mine.
I lay down my money (on the table) and, since we got really good service, a 25% tip... I'm feelin good and I think the waitress should feel good too. Well, my buddy says "hey, I don't have correct change. you don't mind if I combine our checks, do you?".
eh, of course not.
Well, he picks up my bill and my money... puts the two bills together and leaves enough money for the total and maybe a 15% tip.
I'm staring at the table and I'm so shocked I just don't know what to say. He looks at me... looks down at the table.... looks back at me and says "WHAT... you got a problem? nobody deserves more than 10%"
ya know... I don't know.... I was speachless. Last time I ever let that fucker combine a bill with me though.

Over here, the waitress just runs one check for the entire table, and then just asks you what you had and crosses it off.
You usually just round it up if you're a large group and that's her tip.

So the table gets one check, but she figures out who pays what...
