Re: the budlight ad
For at least a year Budlight has had this incredibly horrfic ad campaign where a "really hot" girl walks into a random bar finds a bro and broette and asks if they are "Up for anything?" When they reply "YES, I'M UP FOR ANYTHING" they are whisked away on a bud-sponsored trip to some tropical island or bonaroo or some EDM thing and are shown having all the fun while the "hot girl" tells them about how "being up for anything" opens the door to crazy fun and friends.
I don't think the quote on the bottle was rapey, and definitely not intended that way. I DO think there was some asshole marketing guy who thought his shitty ads were so amazing that everyone in the country had seen them and understood the context of the text on the bottle and would say "I LOVE SAYING YES TO STUFF." I think that's 60% more likely to be what happened than that giant company being so ridiculous |

I think I'm starting to get it. Boxing is the soccer of punching, and MMA is the football of punching. Right?
