not disagreeing that it's shitty behavior, bruh. it's just so fucking hot. the strange is always more exciting than the familiar. you can certainly have the high ground on this one.

i have been. i was with someone when i met my ex-husband. the adrenaline rush from stealing me and then getting called up to war was probably what made us stupid enough to get married in a fever. so. romantic. he liked sending me home with hickies here and there. i liked going home with them. snakes in the grass tend to find each other in the weeds.

Neil Young is still pulling the same shit. My mom saw him last night at Jones beach amphitheater and she said he played his anti Monsanto song twice in the same show.

The Neil Young/ Pearl Jam talk reminded me of an old Blind Melon interview where they said they were playing at a party for record execs etc to try and get signed. At that stage they only had 5 songs finished so played all 5 and then played them all again. No one seemed to notice and they got a deal.

I saw Beck on his Mellow Gold tour and before playing "Pay No Mind" he spent a few minutes telling us how they'd reworked the song into this new version called "Got No Mind". 3 songs later a very drunk woman yelled out a request for "Pay No Mind". The baffled look on his face was priceless as he muttered about how they'd just played that and how he'd explained it first. He looked so new to the whole world touring thing. Now I can't listen to him without thinking - fucking scientologists.
