A boxing match between Deuce and Spooky is a great idea, although i'd probably still back Spooky.

Anyone with a Harry Potter obsession is probably use to getting their ass kicked, therefore he could probably last more rounds. That and the fact he is probably a dirty fighter.... and he's Texan. Yeehaw!!

Sirens

Just adding to sirens on the radio. On local melbourne radio we have an ad that plays a police siren. When you're driving you instantly check you mirrors and look around, but nothings there. Then this voice comes on and says "checked your mirrors, didnt ya?". It then launches into an ad saying basically dont drink and drive. Then it ends with "Next time, it wont be an ad". I just thought it was cool.

JAWS!

As if paddling can't build up enough speed to surf waves like that, they have to get towed behind a waverunner. Those fuckers are crazy.

ok, need to chime in again

This time, sex disease statistics.

30% of people may have herpes, but the distribution is not uniform across catagories. Sex has been shown to be an aristocratic network, ie 5% of the people have more than 5% of the sex. Now. Beyond that, anytime you talk about people having something, liking something, etc you must ask 2 questions.
1) do the poor have more of it? if so, then that explains why you know so few
2) does india/africa/china have more? if so, we arent even 30% of china
There is a lot more, but i have to run to class. I feel better now.

It's actually not even that, it's a "Trojan Horse". It doesn't spread itself, it doesn't even activate itself. The person who sends it out has to trick the user on the other end to actually open the thing.

Compare this to something like the "I love you" worm that infected the entire internet in 24 hours and shutdown the DMV in Connecticut without any user interaction. Or the "Code Red" worm which still infects millions of PC's world wide as your web logs and firewall logs will attest.

Today, out of the box, the Macintosh running OS X is the safest and easiest to use computer available. You can power one up and connect it to the internet without a firewall or virus package and run it forever without a worry.

To the contrary a brand new Dell plugged into an internet connection without a firewall or virus scanner will be infected in 30 seconds and in 5 hours taken over and rendered an unusable worthless bot sending out spam and serving prOn to IRC channels.
