I think your missing the point.

I'm still stunned by the rape story.

What was up with the Ben Folds song at the end? It sounded like it was slowed down by 10%.

Also the rape story was utterly harrowing, that was some unexpected emotional whiplash to have at 7am.

A difficult episode to listen to, when Wendi's voice broke a bit when she described her feelings about the rape I was so angry. Shit is so unfair. But I love that she is so strong to incorporate the story into her stand-up. I wanted to hear the guys' names so that I could somehow rain a shit storm down upon them but understand her feeling that the shit storm would come back to her. A great guest and a great episode.

How silly of me to imply that shitty, poorly written, big budget action movies come out in the summer and still predict to do well, even when the producers know they made garbage . Not sure where I got the idea.

They didn't rush to make it so it could release in the summer. They rushed to make it because if it wasn't made they would lose the FF rights and add another member to the Marvel Movie Universe's legion of billion dollar movies. The resources were obviously there to find better writers and directors but they didn't because they didn't fucking care to. They made a good enough movie, that has made about $100M to date, and get to keep that money out of Marvel's hands.

Please don't give Wendi my info, she could definitely beat me up. I'm a terrible fighter :/
