This is a perfect example of why KATG is the best show there is. Well Done Keith and Chemda and Wendi too!
I read a great article a while ago to do with consent issues etc: dating tips for the feminist man | The Media Co-op Also there is this which is shorter but equally genius: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGoWLWS4-kU |

Some statements from Wendi.
I had stuff leaking out of my ass, not like shit, but his stuff. I don't remember having sex with him let alone anal sex.. etc.. etc... I wanted to know if I liked it or not.... I know I'm paraphrasing but wtf? I'm also confused on her definition of rape. If those two guys had woken up the next day high fived each other and high fived her and said something along the lines of " that was fucked up last night I was so drunk" she would've said "no rape" but because instead they acted like a couple of douche bags and when their aunt knocked at the door they acted embarrassed and immature and 'hid' her... and didn't say they were fucked up as well they are rapist? I'm not saying she didn't tell them to stop... but according to her if they were fucked up as well (or stated they were fucked up. Or texted her the next day like her current guy and said lets have sex again but lets keep you non-black out so we can have wakey wakey sex) they would've been in the clear? heh

they rolled her up in a blanket like a dead person, constricting her movement, a guy spread his asshole directly over her face, then he kicked her before they left and told her not to look at them while they were attending the same event. that's not immaturity, that's malicious. waking up, it's not a leap to imagine the night before /wasn't/ just drunken antics, but also maybe needlessly malicious as well. had it been apologies and crepes and maybe running into the closet to save face, she'd be telling a different story and there'd be room to talk about 'immaturity.'

OK first off: Yes you can absolutely rape an unconscious/blacked-out person and them not remembering doesn't make it not rape.
But from what I hear in her story she works on the basis that she knows she does blackout every once in a while and looks/acts like she is is "normal drunk" so guys having sex with her might not know so if they act like normal nice humans she doesn't count it as rape. In the wedding story she VERY clearly said that she woke up from the blackout more than once and remembers them aggressively violating her and hurting her and her looking scared and them keeping that up in the morning. Do you see a difference? |

ahh boi.... i'm not making up what she said... She said if they had apologized or hadn't acted as they did when she woke up she would've been 'fine' with it.... not saying she didn't say no, not saying this isn't 'rape rape' i'm more confused that the way she explained it on the show, she decides whether she was raped the following day based on how the guy acts... |

The guy who Refuses Liquor doesn't know when a woman's had too much to drink, completely blacked out, and being raped by two guys...
Is this one of those times we can use the r word? Just this once??? |
