Jono is right. Those alien abduction stories are based on what we would do if we found life on another planet. We would just observe it for awhile, then capture it, study its behavior, dissect it to see how it functions, etc. We wouldn't just leave it alone. It's exactly what we've done to all life that's been discovered on this planet. We wouldn't know as much as we do about living things if we didn't.

The same is true for all of the books and movies about alien invasion. They're all based on our own history of exploration leading to eventual conquest. We wouldn't spend billions going to another planet, then just leave if the intelligent life that we found didn't want us there, especially if they had resources that we need on Earth. We feel like we have a right to whatever we discover.

Don't lump ghosts and that other bullshit in with alien life. Alien life most certainly exists (or existed, or will exist) on some planet, somewhere.

And c'mon its obvious even to a cop that Harisson Ford did not hit Calysta F. Her neck is thinner than my middle finder, her head would have come off.

And Chemda is upset that the studios are listening to the audience and trying to make shows that please them? You'd think that's a good thing. (Except making a sequel to My Big Fat Bullshit Greek Wedding. There is no way that's a good thing)

Gilmore Girls revival
 

Chemda--if it makes you feel any better, the creator Amy Sherman-Palladino said she would only do more Gilmore Girls content with the right producers and the right budget and the right format. So the four 90-minute episodes/movies were most likely her idea that fit right into how she wanted to continue the story.

And FYI, Sookie/Melissa McCarthy will be back, but don't get your hopes too high. It'll most likely be a quick cameo (like one scene). But her absence in the rest of the show will be explained.

I'm glad Keith hated Hardcore Henry. That POS is the personification of some asshole publishers making a generic military shooter every year.

Keith is there any movie you're looking forward to (besides Civil War)?
