not defending it; just shedding some light on it. there's /a lot/ bonkers about it and i enjoy spectacle in many forms. the hands down best part of kid's pageants are the moms. they do routines from their chair like nobody can see them! fucking hilarious.

bimbo tits won't win it. the scene is very middle class conservative; overt sexuality is frowned upon. think more your daughter's best friend and less C+ graduate working at the local titty bar.

I guess it's technically a talent. I'd say staying in good shape(especially stage-worthy shape) is a talent in itself. The problem is the word talent seems to turn it into a positive thing when this whole world originates in what should be considered child abuse.

This is an activity that literally strips girls of their character and creates a bunch of pretty idiots. They get thrown into it by their asshole parents at way too young an age and are basically taught by the judging that ultimately its all about your beauty and stage presence. The world view questions are just for everyone to laugh at apparently otherwise they might be even the slightest bit prepared for a real question. The whole thing should be outlawed. It's an enemy to feminism in my view.

Well Wolverine should get an academy award for best abs.

Actually, now that I think of it, he probably spends more time in the gym than he does either training to act or actually acting. He actually deserves that best abs oscar.

Rule #1: be attractive
Rule #2: don't be unattractive

i get what you're saying, but if you think the real world doesn't judge you on what you look like and how you carry yourself, you're off the mark, m'boy.

add to that list car shows, hooters, sexy calendars, and pornography.

Yeah but racism is a thing too. We don't have best racist competitions.

Just because a thing is a thing doesn't mean it should be celebrated.

but thats because thats what you selected - you could have added the music industry where the biggest earners are women or the fashion industry.

Also - refer to the previous picture of Trump

i'm not touting it as a moral good, but you can't dismiss those particular graces as useless. not everybody has them or knows how to use them.

you shouldn't be shocked at what a pretty face and a little skillful bullshit will get you.
