here's something fun i did:

had dinner with some old friends i was close with from high school about 2 years ago. one of them is getting married. i had a few drinks and talked myself into becoming invited--i wasn't initially invited--like, made a fuss about how i was sooooo excited and whatever. she sent me an invite and i'm pretty sure i RSVP'd.

fucking forgot. i'm sure she's still holding a secret grudge. but, i heard after the fact she was a MONSTER bitch and it was super cold that day, so i don't feel bad. in fact, i'd feel great if word on the grapevine is that i snubbed her. fuck her; she didn't like me in 12th grade.

They rule all of the schools.

Also, my talent is that this will eventually heal.

It must be super awesome to have a brain that allows you to be 100% comfortable to eloquently talk about all the valid reasons why Hillary is a bad candidate and how you don't plan to vote for her because you are so fucking cool and clever and knowledgeable about politics and its so terrible that not more people know as much as you do but at the same time expect the dumb masses to vote for her because clearly Trump would be bad.

I kinda want Trump to be elected just to see the dumb shocked faces of all the people that didn't vote for Hillary because they thought everybody else would and they could be the cool hipsters in a blue state voting third party.

Why should someone be uncomfortable with talking about the valid reasons why Hillary is a bad candidate? Also, I think John made it pretty clear that if the polls show a close race in NY, he would vote for her. I live in Poland, but I'm registered in Connecticut, which is also a blue state. If it looks too close for comfort there, I'll absolutely vote for her. Otherwise, I don't feel the need to vote for someone who voted for the Iraq war, supported intervention in Libya, helped suppress the minimum wage in Haiti, supports shitty trade deals, and who likes lying a lot among other things. Granted, Trump would do any one of those things and worse, but why would I vote for either if I don't need to?

Also, with all the election fraud, exit poll discrepancies and other questionable things that have gone down in the Democratic primary, what makes you think they don't have the general election rigged even harder? Hillary has far more connections to the establishment than Trump, including Republican ones, and she's merely a chess piece in the entire process. I don't think the establishment would let someone like Trump win, and I think they have the power to make that decision.

people have been saying this for a year. people thought the same thing about Brexit. it is dangerous thinking that it can't happen and you are underestimating the fervency of his voter base.

Because its super hypocritical "do as I say don't do as I do" bullshit

I would go crazy if I keep running around informing people of why something is deeply wrong while at the same time fervently hoping that these same people ignore everything I say.

And Sparrow is completely right - this is how BREXIT happened.

I'm not saying it's deeply wrong to vote for Clinton. If people genuinely think her positives outweigh her negatives, or if they're in a swing state, whatever it is, that's on them to make their own decision. If I was in a state where the race was much closer, I'd vote for her, like I said. I'd also vote for her if the upcoming Florida platform meeting is successful and they implement some better progressive policies into the official platform. I just think it's dumb that people can't even criticize her anymore without reciting the new Hillary campaign slogan: "BUT TRUMP THO!!!!"

I'm not a native speaker so it's probably my fault but you really don't get the point I'm making.

I'll shush myself

I'd delete the posts but Keith frowns on that
