I can't wait to watch this and agree with you.
But I know you're wrong. The movie HAPPENS to have a twenty-something percent on Rotten Tomatoes and the trailer itself is fucking ridiculous. Also, you definitely don't need to explain how you recently saw it in a movie theater... |

the original Pete's Dragon is an amazing, beautiful little story. i'm horrified to see what they've done to it. i'm not so into musicals, but this is such a happy and heartbreaking calliope. There's Room For Everyone In This World? Pete's Song? Brazzle Dazzle Day? if you're a person who's ever felt like you needed a friend or a place in this big ole world and this movie doesn't wreck your fucking shit, i can't know possibly know you like i thought i knew you.

Yeah, I don't know why I felt the need to run to the defense of Superman III, that's almost as weird and nonsensical as the movie is. Just seems like the hardest thing to make fun of is a comedy that works. Which I suppose is the point in question. All this is to say I wish I were close enough to come to this, even though I just saw it less than a week ago. (That's how not terrible Superman III is! Oh no! It pulled me back in.)
This must be sarcastic, but just in case, there was a link in my original post. Not worth going back for. |
