I'm 5'8 270 pounds. I have type 1 diabetes, PCOS, and no thyroid due to cancer. The reason I'm fat is because I eat like a fat pig. I eat candy, pizza and other fattening shit and don't exercise. I'm not proud of it; I'm working on it.

Biggest thing for me was learning not to care so much about what others think. I have to lose weight to make MYSELF feel physically and mentally better. I know several skinny people with major body issues...it sounds cheesy, but the only way to find happiness is to find a way to love yourself. Once you do that, you'll start taking care of yourself better.

I know why I'm fat and I own it. When I went to NYC last week I gained ten pounds; through careful carb counting and extra walking, I lost 10 pounds this week, even with all of the above conditions.

I freaking love Kerryn as a guest. She is hilarious. I'm glad she didn't tone it down on the TLC show. Fucking hilarious.
