They aren't lying. LIBSYN offers that deal. My point is that Keith and Chemda don't realize the true costs of bandwidth. The LIBSYN is a great deal, as long as they stay in business and don't raise the costs.

no, I am just saying that the numbers don't compute - Keith and Chemda must be lying with something ...and if they ridicule Podshow's offering of unlimited traffic and present Libsyn as example of solution, then they lie because Libsyn offers only 800 MB for storage what is not enough for shows with so many episodes. For people who just like podcasting part-time the contract of Podshow (the part time whore contract, not the full time full programme whore) is better: zero costs and unlimited storage and traffic.

I am in for bashing but it must be equal opportunity bashing damn it.

I think they are closer to 11-12 Gig. I have 56 of their shows in one directory 2.47 gig. They obviously have a special deal with LIBSYN. Their storage doesn't match what I can purchase from LIBSYN.

I currently pay 59.00 for a dedicated server with a 60 gig hd and 1 Terabyte of bandwidth a month. They are in the 4 to 5 Terabyte range.

So it's a great deal.

Not that I think their web site is fucked up, but it doesn't work for me.

the deal is uploading 800MB in 31 days then they get rolled over to the archive servers, stuff on the archive does not count, they can also use bittorrent in the feed so torrent aware clients use that feed instead. they've been doing it for ages not beta testing like podshow.
