247: The PodShow Contract

I'm listening to you guys talking (ranting) about the contract right now. I'm a long time listener and a big fan but I think you're over reacting. Rather than bashing the contract you ought to try and negotiate a contract that is to your liking. That contract isn't written in stone. Business is all about negotiation, you can't expect podshow to come to you guys and offer to toss your salad on a daily basis. If you don't get the terms you want, then bash the fuckers publicly.

Where's the win in that? KATG did a ballsy thing making the contract and their opinion of it public, and hopefully some people that might have shrugged their shoulders and signed will have a different view on it to include in their thoughts now. So job done.

Somehow I doubt KATG will get linked to much from the Curryverse after this anyway, but while it is, adverts or no, that can get filed under "spreading the word".

What an asshole Adam is for raping podcasters.

However, I'm not surprised that Dawn and Drew signed right up. They are a couple of idiots, which is evident if you listen to 5 minutes of any show they ever had. Though I haven't listened to most of the stuff on the "PodShow Network", I can only assume that podcasters that signed that contract are fucking stupid, and I wouldn't want to hear what they have to say anyway.
