DO NOT CUT. If you trim her labia, you run the risk of permanently hampering your daughter's access to pleasure. The vulva is a complex interconnected structure (comprised of the labia and clit, among other bits). If you toy with one thing, you will affect another. There is a high density of nerve fibers on both the outer and inner surfaces of labia minora, in addition to a high density of blood vessels, in excess of that needed to maintain the skin of the labia, indicating a high likelihood that the blood vessels of the labia minora play some role in the sexual response and possibly in the engorgement and erectile function of the clitoris. if you cut them, you could cause clitoral erectile dysfunction and/or reduce the pleasure derived from the labia themselves.

Yes most showerheads in North America are affixed to the wall. It's becoming more common to install a hand-shower in addition to the fixed showerhead now, like in your hotel room picture.

And yeah the cold blast can suck but I turn on the shower from the side of the tub before getting in so it doesn't hit me. It's generally only a problem for small shower stalls.
