this is a conversation i had recently. and this isn't anyone on the extreme. it was the general tone of things. the guy deleted it, but i made sure to save a copy for him.

Lovely to hear Josie on the show. She's one of my favourite comics not just because she's funny but because she's right about almost everything. I hope she has good luck in America.

I say almost because I'm conflicted on the american date thing. On the one hand, the British system of day/month/year makes sense because it scales up small to big, it has an internal consistency. But on the other hand, the American system works better with computer systems since it'll sort by the right amount. So while I prefer the UK method, I won't be joining Josie on the picket lines for this cause.

As a highly decorated thread killer, after a female's tl;dr post about peeps dying for it, etc., she ends with, "the flag means freedom to me."

I posted, "Freedom means freedom to me."

I literally live down the street from this Adam. I know him. Or I know plenty of idiots like him anyway. I know so many guys that use that negative attitude as an excuse to be an asshole. They love to be all apathetic about any issues that won't have any influence in their life and then get hyper pissed about some bullshit usually involving somebody else's patriotism or lack there of. They literally can't comprehend how privileged we all are.

Josie is supes funny.
