For the record, I certainly do not remember ever saying this.

I always believed that if you're the victim, you can deal with the situation however you want.

WOW! Mermaid is working today! Thank you.

Apia, some of your text is frustrating because I have seen people respond to this same question about being black and/or the N-word. It feels like it comes down to: you know the facts but you don't believe the effects of them.

Before you ask more questions that you won't connect to the NEXT answer you get, take a minute. Ask YOURSELF what the answer to your question would be given all this context.

It was an old show where you were telling black people to stop saying it. I remember you said that if they don't, white people will always be confused. I remember Patrice saying that when she says it, she means it with an "er", not an "a".

I could be mixing up different shows, but it had to be one of hers. I don't know how you would find it.

Absolutely!

(What the fuck...? He doesn't even need to give an example? I think people are just going with the spirit of this show: Just Asking. It's actually clever.)

I guess if you define "racist" by how the offender feels rather than the impact it has on the other race...Then fine.

But I don't.

That's the thing with these Just Asking questions. These people Just Asking don't even care about the answers. They just think they're being deep for a second.

"Go chew on that for awhile. You're welcome."

Yeah, I think that's just a personal thing. Who I'm talking to and whethere or not it changes anything makes a big a difference for me. I can't get emotionally invested in something that doesn't really matter. That would be stressful.
