I assumed Rise Up was a sneaky borderline racist 'The South will rise again' reference?

But maybe the whole Trump debacle just makes me suspicious of the US?

the A is hella Black. all hype surrounding Falcons football and Hawks basketball is largely driven by and targeted toward that community. i think it's more Rising Up against and overcoming adversity/challenges/setbacks/crap seasons/etc seeing as how the Falcons are not a historically great team; Rising Up in performance with new ownership, new coaches, lots of new young players.

the racists tend to be more Braves and UGA fans. the tomahawk chop and its associated chant always bothered me and Athens is full of douchey white rich folk.
