Keeping the battery in your laptop will make it a little hotter, because it naturally discharges and then re-enters the charge cycle once it drops below a certain level. If you're staying home for a long period of time, you're supposed to remove the battery when it's about half-full and store it somewhere temperate and dry.

I want to do that but I'm so used to just unplugging at will and wandering the house with my computer. I can almost guarantee that the day I decide to do it, I'll be working on something important and lose it all.

I guess I'm just super sensitive being a survivor of the whole WTC thing, but damn I was almost in tears.....

But it brought me back, and everytime it reaffirms my life today and what's important... but fuck I want comedy!

which is why I didn't say 9/11..... There are survivors of 9/11 and survivors of the WTC on 9/11.. There's a difference...
