I got a Best Self journal recently after seeing the Facebook ads. Had no idea it was from Cat! I saw the title of this episode and thought it was a funny coincidence until it came up near the end of the episode...

I have been using a to-do tracking app forever to track the tasks that need to get done, but I still found myself drifting through the day never sure of what to do next. Sitting down each morning with multi-coloured pens and writing my plan for the day on paper has helped me focus and start to get traction!

I know several people who never received anything (aside from the original ticket) and found out that they had a bench warrant during a speeding ticket stop or tacked on to a DUI.

It's sickening and slightly satisfying to see people blindly side with the cops, I took it personally when people would say crap like this to BLM but now I know some ppl are just 'that way'

You can vote you have to be convicted of a felony to loose that privilege

http://www.lwvny.org/advocacy/vote/R...onvictions.pdf

The following list has examples of individuals with criminal histories who are eligible to register and vote:
• those convicted of a misdemeanor, not a felony;
• those currently in jail awaiting grand jury action, trial or disposition of a case, but not yet convicted;
• those convicted of a felony who do not receive a sentence of imprisonment;
• those convicted of a felony who did receive a sentence of incarceration, but who are no longer in prison and not on parole.

Guess.

She played you!
How'd I not know the cop was lying to me?

Well, when she comes home with a boiling cauldron of lava, do you want her to be able to put it down safely or have to try and knock some stuff out of the way first? That's how you get burnt carpet!

Do you leave the stuff there permanently or only arrange it when you have people coming over. If it's permanently then fine, that becomes its rightful place. If it's short term then we can provide 24 hour temporary parking permits.

Delayed response

Still trying to catch up on old news, so I went looking for the last show Cat was on. 18 months ago. And since I listened to it/watched it, and since I have opinions...

Early on, a small piece of banter between Chemda and Cat - one of those things that is strange in retrospect - re: dogs licking up Keith's blood from the floor:

Chemda: You guys are actual blood now! They really got adopted now.
Cat: Those three are. I'm still single.
Chemda: You can leave whenever you want!
Cat: Yeah.
Chemda: According to the law...

Not predictive, just ironic in retrospect.

re: Crime and cops - I'm 100% w/ Chemda on this. Also, for anyone that still thinks you live in a law-and-order world where cops are always to be obeyed, you need to watch these videos. Cops lie LEGALLY all the time. It's what they do:

Part 1 - the professor
Part 2 - the cop
