Keith, no sick story, just regular "woman-losing-it-over-some-bullshit". Being single for a few hours after eight years was just too cool ; getting back with her would be like giving a bone to a dog and taking it away before it has the time to open its mouth.

Yeah we dont generally tip here in Australia either, although restaurants are the optional exception and its not 'law' like in the US. The core reason is that our minimum wage is much higher and in addition our social security is far better than the US, not to mention free (well heavily subsidised) health care. That said we have a 48% top tax bracket to fund all this.
