Women scientist are whole humans.
They have the same amount of time to perfect their feminine mystique as anyone else with a job. Don't take a whole lot of time to tape boobs and vaseline teeth. Y'all are acting like we just sit around and discuss the last research article we read all night. Pageants are usually only over a weekend. If it's more she has a government job so she likely have plenty of vacation time. What is this "high minded" thing? You are mistaken. Scientist have all the same flaws as anyone else when it comes to understanding feminism/racism/economic inequality/etc. Maybe worse cause they believe themselves to be too smart to have faults. |

Also, this sounds like to me that when you mentioned you had successful "colleagues" that did pageantry and are still about to acquire a job or degree that requires high intelligence, you're referring to your 8-year-old "colleagues?" Wow. They still got their life together after 5th grade pageantry? Now seriously, if we all apologize can we see your pageantry pics? |

Excuse me for giving her the benefit of the doubt. I think the majority of the people you believe to be smart would stumble over an answer too just due to nerves. |

No, colleagues from high school and college. I made a friend at the pageant I did in fourth grade but no social media back then and I don't remember her name. |

You're still acting like I'm talking about if health care is a right and I'm talking about how she's a 365/24-7 idiot. She wasn't saying words that make sense. Stop it. And what the fuck, She never thought about the answer to if we deserve free health care? She was given a real Gotcha question. |

I can only assume she won it based on the other parts of the competition. |
