i was just about to listen to the new episode, and i think that there's an error on the link; since it's the same as the previous episode (and obviously contains the same file)...

Anyone else having this problem, or is it jus me?

the QWERTY keyboard(american keyboards) are based on the same setup typewriters uses.

Typewriters would often break because of how fast people were typing on them with earlier keyboard layout prototypes. The QWERTY set up was invented for the specific reason of making people type SLOWER.

the european keyboards triumph QWERTY.

Um, we pretty much use qwerty in europe too. The layouts differ because different languages have different letters in their alphabets, and sometimes keys are moved around acording to how common a letter is.

But setting a different keyboard layout is trivial, if you are not dependant on the key labels.

The frensh hole in the ground toilets... could this be because of the muslim population? I saw the same thing in Kuala Lumpur (which is otherwise very modern).

Oh, and mythbusters: They concluded that a bullet isn't lethal falling at terminal velocity. In the cases where people have been hurt the bullets weren't free falling, but just traveling at a steep angle, but they still had ballistic behaviour and a speed much higher than free fall.
